This September Contorno Consulting is organizing two workshops from the Genuine Contact Program™.
Working with Open Space Technology (OST) (1 - 3 September) During the OST workshop participants will learn to work with Open Space Technology, an elegant and simple to use method to hold meetings that produce results while creating conditions for maximum participation and creativity among those involved. Open Space Technology is a useful tool for anyone interested in harnessing the power of the group for (organizational) transformation, and can be used for meetings from 7 - 1000+ people. In addition to developing a deeper understanding of the Open Space Technology meeting, this workshop supports the process of bringing this powerful tool into organizations and communities by providing guidance for the preparation of the facilitator as well as tools for planning and follow-up of OST meetings to enhance their sustainability. Cross Cultural Conflict Resolution (CCCR) (4 - 5 September) This is the first time we will offer the CCCR facilitation module in the Netherlands. It provides a unique approach to resolving conflicts. The workshop places emphasis on the preparedness of the facilitator and provides guidance on personal preparation as well as exploring a specific approach to conflict resolution that embraces several frameworks useful for conflict resolution coming from different (cultural) traditions. In this way the workshop uses cross-cultural knowledge as a tool for conflict resolution, as well as providing a framework to resolve cross cultural conflict.
